Terms of Use
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms apply to seal3x.com, run by Chinese Seal Creations (“we”). By using the site you agree to them. Please also read ourPrivacy Policy.
The seal studio
You can carve seals in the studio for free and download the images for personal use, including sharing them online. The seal-script typeface is Chong Xi Small Seal by Academia Sinica (CC BY-ND 3.0 TW); its credit must stay with it.
Not a legal seal
Seals made here — on screen or in stone — are keepsakes and a form of personal expression. They are not legal signatures, company seals or proof of identity.
Chinese name suggestions
Names are suggested by AI. We check every character against the Unicode Han Database and filter out characters with unfortunate meanings, but suggestions are not a guarantee of meaning or usage. Please have a Chinese speaker review a name before using it for anything permanent, such as a tattoo.
Your wishes and names
You are responsible for what you write. Don’t post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, spam, or anyone’s personal data. If you add your seal to the public register, you let us display your seal and wish on the site. We may hide or remove any entry at our discretion, and you can ask us to remove yours at any time.
QR codes
The hidden QR codes scan in our tests, but we can’t guarantee every phone, app, screen or print will read them. Scroll pages stay online while the site runs.
Real seals
- A reservation is not an order and costs nothing. An order is made only when you complete checkout after we send you a proof.
- The price is US$299 including express shipping. Import duties or taxes may apply depending on your country.
- Each seal is made to order, so we can’t accept returns or cancellations once carving has started. If your seal arrives damaged or carved differently from the proof you approved, we’ll re-carve it free of charge.
- Delivery times are estimates. Stone is natural, so color and veining vary from the photos.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a real seal is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
